djflow: #muchrespect to RUFIO Today I had the honor of being part of an event #Transition that was put on & organized by Rufio.     This event was important in a lot of ways and represented a HUGE milestone for the Sacramento hip-hop scene.  What first appeared to be another show filled w/ rap songs turned out to be a celebration of what the city has to offer.  Artists coming together to share what they have and support each others talents. What really amazed me was 90% (if not more) of the music was produced by Rufio.   He single handedly brought the scene together on a common stage through his music. One of the main goals I have with anything I do as a DJ/Producer or w/ Live @ The Dojo as a whole, revolves around the idea of contributing to the culture and I feel that Rufio represents that perfectly.   I just wanted to use this opportunity to thank him for throwing the event & letting me be a part of it.  Also big ups to all the artists & everyone who was there it helped make it happen. Illy aka Xuice Hades @ the end of his set had said that 2012 Sac is gonna be on & it blew up the spot.  I know its been said a million times, but I can honestly say that I 100% believe in it & i’ll do anything I can to contribute to this area getting that recognition. SMH. This is what you get when a generation is filled with ignorant hype followers. Know your movement and remember cops are a part of the 99%. They are simply doing their jobs to provide for their families. 

I should start a movement called Occupy Ignorance.

Out of all of these images the one majority of us need to take note from is the last. I’m tired of people posting about all of these protests gone wrong with the purpose of only focusing on police brutality. smh. ignorance.
